TUPEX-8 Features
TUPEX is an excellent project for students to apply what they learn of space systems engineering and many more
Innovation
Great environment for TU Berlin students to innovate ideas into experimental FFUs
Apply and test
Students get a decent opportunity to test their ideas in space like projects.
Communication
Students establish realtime contact channels with their FFUs for tracking and commanding.
Launch and operate
Great opportunity for students' to have hands-on experience of launch and operate space systems

Our mission
Our primary mission scope is to develop a functional pseudo-Cubesat!. That by developing further our inherited buses and subsystems from TUPEX-6 and TUPEX-7. In addition to that we have considered including experiments like LoRa Communication experiment and MESO temprature telemetry experiment.
Our team
TUPEX-8 team consists of a variety of specialists from different majors of the industry cooperate to deliver the best results to the society.

Dr. Martin von der Ohe
Specialist in space mission planning and operations
TUPEX is the perfect platform for students to undergo a space mission from mission idea to disposal. Students learn how to design a mission concept, derive requirements, iterate the system design in large project teams and gain extensive hands-on experience during AIT processes. There is nothing better than the satisfaction when the mission runs smoothly. And if not, the lessons learnt are immense.
Eng. Cem Avsar
MSE international program manager
Space engineers design, implement, launch and operate missions in international and interdisciplinary teams, for the benefit of our society. In TUPEX, students get the chance to do exactly all of that in their studies. What else is there to say?
Dr. Zizung Yoon
Lecturer of Spacecraft dynamics and control
TUPEX covers all relevant system engineering aspects and project phases of a space mission. Also the innovative payload facilitates the development of space technology
